Chipotle BBQ sauce

gerla de boer bbq sauce

This delicious homemade Chipotle BBQ sauce is so easy to make and the chipotle gives it an amazing kick!

How to use it

This Chipotle BBQ sauce is perfect with your BBQ for meat or vegetables, to spice up your sandwich and on your pizza! Don’t tell the Italians as I’m sure they will disapprove. Use it instead of the tomato sauce and top it up with BBQ chicken thighs and caramelised onions. It’s delicious.

Which equipment to use

I have used the Thermomix for the recipe as it chops, blends and cooks so I only have to use one pot. Saves washing up! Don’t have a Thermomix? Not a problem. Check out my notes at the bottom for the alternative recipe.

Bon appetite!
