I have to be honest. I barely have a pizza outside my home as I am a keen pizza chef myself. Where do I go if I want one of the best pizzas in Cambridge?
One of my favourite food trucks Pizza Mondo hasn’t been around a lot due to the pandemic. You could find them all over town; at FoodPark, Thirsty Cambridge and Calverley’s brewery. They make excellent Neapolitan style pizzas with delicious toppings.
These pizzas are a perfect match with a good glass of craft beer or wine. On my food tours, we included them on our Craft beer and private tours. Always a winner! Check out their social media to find out where they park up their truck. I am sure we will see more of them soon now everything is relaxing.

My favourite pizza in central Cambridge is from Maurizio Dining & Co. Their style of pizza is a mix between the Neopolitan and Roma pizza, and he only uses Fior di Latte Mozarella on his pizzas and appetisers. Hailing from Italia, Maurizio only does authentic, high-quality Italian toppings. My favourite pizzas are the Nudja and the Tarentella, which is one of their most popular pizzas at the moment. The Tarantella includes Fior di Latte Mozarella, their homemade passata, Italian sausage and friarielli (greens). Check out their restaurant in Mill Road where they serve authentic Italian cuisine and list some fantastic Italian wines!

Not keen to go out, but make your own Neapolitan style pizza? I developed an excellent pizza over the years. Head over to my pizza recipe page.
